                              block 2 lot 196 No stone in cemetery or noted on layout of cemetery map.  Found in an old book kept of burial purchases which the priests of St. Matthew's logged.  This book was in the hands of the purchaser of the old O'Flarrety Funeral Home in Shullsburg (c:1983).  It was noted in the book, that the father purchased the burial lot for his son, Herman Casper who died 6 May 1902 and that the mother of the deceased was Celia Hebenstreit.

On Saturday, May 14, 1881, at the Congregational parsonage, by the Rev. A.E. Arnold, Mr. John Hebenstreit and Miss Flora Beadell. No cards.
The wedding was a very quiet affair. About 8 p.m., John and his fair bride got into a carriage, accompanied by Charlie Rudolf and Miss Lizzie Hebenstreit, who arrived that morning from Stillwater, Minnesota, and drove to the parsonage, where the interesting ceremony was performed that made them man and wife.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Beadell, and is one of the best known young ladies of Lemars, having come here with her people ten years ago, when she was but a little girl. Gifted with a charming disposition and a quick wit, she gradually became a factor in the social life of the Gateway and a favorite at every social gathering. She acquired an excellent education, and taught school acceptably in several neighboring districts.
The groom came to Lemars three years ago, taking C. N. Knapp's place as general manager of Staples lumber yard, and is just as good a boy as ever handled a piece of dimension stuff.
The Sentinel, in common with their host of friends, extends its congratulations to the happy pair.
