Had seen (need to locate) an abstract listing of baptisms from Le Mars, County Plymouth, IA for two children of Flora's which occured when the children were a few years old. Bapt: 7 Sept 1884 First Methodist Episcopal, LeMars, County Plymouth, IA. Flora: no parents listed. Susan: J. H. Hebenstreit and Florence.

Although the census consistantly lists Florence as having had 1 child born to her and 1 child living, there are 3 differnet names yet once listed as male and once listed as widowed. Interestingly enough, she is never listed as living with more than one child.
As the name changes occured twice with 'John/Johnnie', I'm not inclined to think this is an error of a census taker.
